Cathedral of San Vigilio

The main cathedral of the city. Located in the city center, it borders with its left side the southern side of Piazza Duomo and, on the left side of the presbytery, it is annexed to the Palazzo Pretorio.
Characterized by a Gothic and Romanesque architectural style.

Buonconsiglio Castle

Buonconsiglio Castle is one of the most famous buildings in Trento and one of the largest monumental complexes in Trentino-Alto Adige, thanks to its beauty and its history linked to the Council of Trento. A fortress from the mid-13th century, it was then the residence of the prince bishops of Trento until the Napoleonic era.
